"Katy Bigsby has been a trusted consultant for the HG Rec After School Sports and Arts Initiative (ASSAI) Program for many years. I had the pleasure of working with her one-on-one to navigate some challenging student behaviors and strengthen our team’s ability to support participants more effectively. Katy brought practical, evidence-based strategies to the table that were both insightful and immediately applicable. Our team also engaged with Katy’s on-demand workshops through BCRPA, including The Big Three, Proactive Strategies, and What’s Up with Bullying. These sessions gave us a strong, strengths-based framework for working with youth and helped us shift our approach to be more proactive, inclusive, and relationship-focused. Katy’s work has had a direct and meaningful impact on the quality of our programming and the outcomes we’re seeing with the young people we serve. Her expertise in creating inclusive, caring, and responsive learning environments truly sets her apart."
