We support health and education projects through high-calibre facilitation, leading focus groups, interviews, workshops, community forums, advisory groups, and panel discussions to generate meaningful engagement, actionable insights, and community-informed decisions.

Led focus groups with doctors, interviewed specialists to guide study design, and developed stakeholder communications materials.

BC Healthy Families - Healthy Living Guide for Teens

Self-Care Issues from the Perspectives of Individuals with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Study

Conducted a province-wide focus groups with oxygen/non-oxygen users, including tool development, transcript analysis, and co-authoring a 2004 study in Patient Education and Counseling.

​About Katy
​
Katy has a background in social work and education. She has her Master of Education degree specializing in adult education and community engagement, a certificate in Foundations in Effective Public Participation (Planning & Techniques) from the International Association for Public Participation Canada (IAP2). She serves as a facilitator with the Association of Early Childhood Educators Newfoundland and the BC Recreation and Parks Association through her series of Strategies for Behaviours We Find Challenging courses. Katy is also a member of the International Association of Facilitators.​​​​​
