Professional Development

We are an educational consultancy that builds social emotional learning and creative engagement in tricky, unsettling situations. We support educators in early learning, K-12, and community organizations in their work when scenarios are complex - and behaviors we find challenging arise. 

We're here to support your team in working through tricky or challenging situations. We do this through big group or one-on-one consultations focusing on the following areas:

• Building tangible, practical social emotional learning skills

• Training in pro-active and in the moment strategies for responding - versus reacting to behavior we find challenging

• Using creative engagement practices to engage learners/clients/customers, particularly those we find challenging to work with

• Learning how to build rapport with learners/clients/customers we find challenging, and the importance of boundaries, expectations, and flexibility

• Supporting learners/clients/customers who experience anxiety

• Engaging in real-plays to support a greater understanding of different perspectives 

• Being aware that systems can amplify behavior we find challenging, and guidance around increasing learner/client/customer voice, choice, and agency
